Граматичні аспекти перекладу науково - популярної статті українською мовою

Abstract

Розвідку присвячено дослідженню граматичних особливостей перекладу науково-популярного тексту статей інтернет-ресурсу BBC. Науково-популярними прийнято називати такі видання, що, як і наукові, містять результати теоретичних чи експериментальних досліджень у галузях науки, культури, мисте- цтва й техніки, однак матеріал в яких викладений у доступній для читача-неспеціаліста формі. Основне призначення таких видань – популярно подати нефахівцям з даної проблематики певні наукові знання. На початку підготовки до друку кожного такого видання важливо уявити коло потенційних читачів (покупців, споживачів) нового видавничого продукту. для англомовних науково-популярних статей домі- нувальними типами переданої інформації є когнітивна й оперативна, значно рідше – емоційно-оцінна. Автори зазначають, що найпоширенішими трансформаціями є зміна порядку слів у реченні, цілісне пере- творення структури речення, опускання значимих компонентів речення, граматична заміна. Особли- вої уваги заслуговують перетворення пасивного стану в активний та численні трансформації заміни. До останніх відносимо заміну форми слова, частини мови, перехід однини в множину. Зауважено, що морфологічні трансформації при перекладі науково-популярних статей є набагато менш частотними ніж синтаксичні. The article is devoted to the grammatical features of the BBC Internet resource articles popular scientific text translation study. The main style-forming factors characterizing the BBC functional language style are the language function (informative, persuasive function, etc.), social consciousness form (science, politics, etc.), the main form of language (written, oral), the typical type of speech (monologue, dialogue), and dominate over the method of aticle translation. Such publications like scientific ones, contain the results of theoretical or experimental research in the fields of science, culture, art, and technology, but the material is presented in a form accessible to a non-specialist reader, and are called popular science publications. The main purpose of such publications is to popularly provide non-specialists with certain scientific knowledge on this issue. At the beginning of preparation for the printing of each such publication, it is important to imagine the circle of potential readers (buyers, consumers) of the new publishing product. For English-language popular scientific articles, the dominant types of transmitted information are cognitive and operational, much less often – the emotional and evaluative. The authors note that the most common transformations are a change in the sentence word order, a complete transformation of the sentence structure, omission of significant sentence components, and grammatical substitution. The transformation of the passive voice into the active and numerous substitution transformations deserve special attention. The latter include the replacement of word forms, parts of speech, and the transition from singular to plural. It is noted that morphological transformations in the translation of popular scientific articles are much less frequent than syntactic transformations.
