Description: This study explores the similarities and differences between English and Ukrainian war terminology, focusing on linguistic, cultural, and contextual factors that shape the meaning and usage of such terms. The research analyzes how each language reflects perspectives on the ongoing war through vocabulary, media discourse, and official communication. The findings highlight the role of language informing public perception and understanding of conflict. Given the centrality of terminology in shaping narratives of conflict, the present study conducts a comparative analysis of English and Ukrainian war-related terminology. The research aims to identify linguistic and ideological differences in how each language conceptualizes and communicates the realities of war. By examining media discourse, official statements, and public communication, the study seeks to uncover how language not only reflects but also constructs perspectives on the ongoing conflict.
