dc.description.abstractCurrently, there are many techniques and methods that allow to evaluate the risk of death from fires. They help to estimate fire risks more accurately. Geographic information system-based cartography "Geo-portal" is a platform that accommodates analytical modules to calculate fire risk and visualize them on the map. Visualization of the risks evaluation results can help to make managerial decisions on planning the operative rescue works during liquidation of emergency situations. The geoportal contains additional information, namely: the emergency response plans for high risk and potentially dangerous objects, allows us to analyze the possible risks and to assess the possibility of dissemination of emergency situations on other objects. The use of such capabilities as 3-D modeling of objects, terrain and other background information about the object is useful in making the right management decisions during the execution of operational-rescue actions.uk
