dc.description.abstractThe method of forecasting the reliability of cylindrical gears using the method of statistical simulation is developed. In the work the optimal time interval of continuous operation of the reducer is determined without maintenance, which provides a sufficient probability of failure-free operation of the reducer in the range of 0.98 ... 0.99. Also, modification of the gearbox housing has been made in order to increase its reliability, which makes it possible to increase the average failure time.uk
