| Abstract: | У статті проаналізовано статистичні дані про загибель і травматизм на пожежах дітей дошкільного та молодшого шкільного віку. Використано звіти та рекомендації міжнародних організацій, що працюють в галузі безпеки життєдіяльності та страхування. Наведено відсот кові розподіли загиблих та потерпілих на пожежах за віком та за причиною виникнення. Зо середжено увагу на пустощах дітей з вогнем як факторі пожежної небезпеки. Сформульовано основні соціально-педагогічні завдання подальших досліджень. |

Khlevnoy CHILDREN’S PLAYING WITH FIRE AS A SOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL PROBLEM The article analyzes the statistics of deaths and injuries in fires for children of preschool and early school age. The reports and recommendations of international organizations working in the area of life safety and security are used. The percentage distribution of deaths and injuries in the fires is shown. Children’s playing with fire as a factor of the fire hazard is analyzed. The basic so cio-pedagogical tasks for future research are described.
