dc.description.abstractThe concept of an open-type biological conveyor has been developed that can be used to treat contaminated wastewater. Unlike the closed biological conveyor method, it is characterized by the organized periodic selection of biomass used for biogas production. The typical scheme of an open-type bioconveyor consisting of an anaerobic bioreactor zone, an aerobic bioreactor zone, a biogas reactor zone and a phyto reactor zone is presented. The rational scheme of the biological conveyor of the open type setup for landfill filtrate purification is introduced. Laboratory studies have been conducted to determine the effectiveness of the use of nozzles for the immobilization of microbiocenosis in aerated lagoons used for landfill leachate purification.en_US
