dc.description	Стаття присвячена дослідженню тематичної групи “назви хвороб” в українських перекладах Біблії ХIХ – ХХ століть (П. Морачевського, П. Куліша–І. Пулюя–І. Нечуя Левицького, І. Огієнка, І. Хоменка, Р. Турконяка). Розглянуто в зіставному аспекті семантичні, стилістичні, культурологічні особливості цих назв, які свідчать про їхню неусталеність в українській мові ХІХ – ХХ століття, підтвердженям цього є синонімійні (квазісинонімійні) ряди і не завжди точне відтворення їх у біблійних текстах. Проаналізовано такі назви хвороб: сухоти, водянка, пропасниця, запалення, гарячка, біснуватість, розслабленість, божевільність, лунатизм, кровотіч, помір, лишай, проказа, моровиця, чума, короста, розслабленість (параліч), гангрена	en_US
dc.description.abstract	The article deals with the research of the thematic group “names of diseases” in the Ukrainian translations of the Bible of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries (by P. Morachevskyi, P. Kulish–I. Puliuy–I. Nechuy–Levytskyi, I. Ohiyenko, I. Khomenko, R. Turkoniak). The author has studied in a comparative aspect semantic, stylistic and cultural peculiarities of these names, which show their unsteadiness in the Ukrainian language of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries; and the synonymic (quasi-synonymic) rows and their not always accurate reproduction in biblical texts confirm this.
