Abstract

The maintenance of concept of efficiency is studied and its suitability for estimates (measurements) of perfection or efficiency of the car is investigated. Scientific arguments which deny the status of efficiency of the car as an objective measuring instrument or criterion are resulted. Affirms, that perfection of the car (even from the point of view of ecology) can be estimated, “measuring” especially its power profitability. But at the same time it is found out, that power profitability unequivocally with efficiency is not connected. The attention is focused what to avoid entirely subjectivity in estimate process of the car perfection it is impossi-ble. Examples of estimation power efficiency of the car with application of test transport cycles which are spokesmen of a certain subjective consensus are resulted.
