Abstract

The paper considers the impact of transport on the state of the forest ecosystem. To assess the impact of emissions from transport for forest transportation, snow cover analysis and visual inspection of plants were performed. Studies have shown that as you approach the road there is a sharp decline in the condition of trees. The approximate area of tree damage was 50 m on both sides of the road. The analysis of soil samples shows that at a distance of 50 m from the road the concentration of zinc is reduced by 25-30% and the content of copper is almost halved, which indicates the protective function of plantings along the road.
