Abstract

In an urban environment, which is characterized by significant transformation of natural components, the plant is affected by a set of negative factors that affect plant viability. In Lviv in recent decades, the results of global climate change are quite clearly seen: a rise of air temperature, a significant change in the length of the growing season, shifting of climatic seasons, and others. Study of the impact of climate change on the viability of woody plants is crucial to address the city's environmental issues. The article analyzes the influence of climate change on the main phenological phases of development of woody plants in an urban environment on the example of the arboretum of the Botanical Garden of UNFU in Lviv.
