Abstract: | Contemporary legal education is undergoing a transformation, requiring educational institutions to implement cutting-edge methods and technologies that meet the demands of the times and a globalized legal system. Methods. Innovative teaching methods in legal disciplines are focused on developing key competencies for future professionals, such as critical thinking, analytical skills, argumentation abilities, and the capacity to adapt quickly to a changing legal environment. The integration of new technologies, active learning methods, and interactive approaches is a necessary condition for the formation of highly skilled legal professionals capable of solving complex legal problems and working in an ever-changing environment. Results. Changes in social, political, and technological contexts require legal professionals not only to possess deep theoretical knowledge but also to respond quickly to new challenges. Therefore, traditional teaching methods, which are limited to lectures and exams, are no longer sufficient to provide the necessary preparation. Innovative approaches to education allow for the creation of new educational models that help students not only master basic legal concepts but also adapt them to real-life situations in professional practice. Conclusions. One of the most effective ways to modernize legal education is through the use of active learning methods. This approach encourages students to actively engage in the learning process by giving them the opportunity to independently seek solutions, analyze information, discuss, and solve problems. Rapidly developing information technologies hold significant potential for transforming legal education. They enable a substantial increase in the accessibility of learning materials, create new forms of interaction between educators and students, and provide more flexible learning opportunities. Technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and digital platforms require legal professionals to have not only expertise in law but also in technological processes. Legal engineering is an emerging field that combines law and engineering to address legal issues related to cutting-edge technologies. |
